More Chickens!!

So, all the experts say to get at least 25% more one day old chicks than chickens you want to end up with because that many usually die within the first few weeks.

Well... we didn't do that and one did die. So we were down to just McNugget and Martha so we decided to go get a few more.

Thawing out



We are slowly starting to thaw out a bit. It has been well above freezing for a week or so. I am starting to believe that it will actually warm up again.

This week we made pork medallions topped with pan fried zucchini baked with tomato orzo:
